Competitive Mens
Competitive Artistic Gymnastics for Men

Men’s Gymnastics consists of six events; floor, pommels, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar. Boys can start training and competing at the provincial level at as young as 7 years old. There are many different streams of competitive gymnastics including provincial, high performance and national. Boys normally start training competitively between the ages of 6 – 8 and are able to compete well into there 20’s.
Gymnastics requires dedication, commitment and a desire to be the best you can be. The athletic skills and physical fitness developed in gymnastics will very likely stay with many gymnasts long after they have retired from the sport. But an even more valuable benefit is the mental soundness and intellectual fitness that gymnasts develop and carry forward throughout their lives.
Gymnastics is a sport of opportunity. Each gymnast of Ortona Gymnastics Club is given the same opportunity and teh chance to do with it what they choose.
