To learn basic free-running and parkour skills in a safe environment.
Parkour and free-running are steadily gaining in popularity. While we would never promote the execution of Parkour skills outside of a safe environment and without proper supervision, we recognize that they are being done. As a result, we realize that there is a need for a safe environment in which to learn those skills. This program is suitable for participants aged 11 and up.
Skills that will be developed:
Safe landings
- landings on the feet (forwards, backwards, and sidewards)
- landings with rotation (forwards and backwards)
- landings on the hands

Parkour skills
- basic rotations
- Kong and double Kong elements
- “flips” or forward, backward, and sideward saltos
- “wall-flips”
- basic trampolining elements
- optional participant choice skills
Physical fitness
- strength
- power
- muscular endurance
- flexibility
