To learn basic free-running and parkour skills in a safe environment.

Parkour and free-running are steadily gaining in popularity. While we would never promote the execution of Parkour skills outside of a safe environment and without proper supervision, we recognize that they are being done. As a result, we realize that there is a need for a safe environment in which to learn those skills. This program is suitable for participants aged 11 and up.

Skills that will be developed:

Safe landings

  • landings on the feet (forwards, backwards, and sidewards)
  • landings with rotation (forwards and backwards)
  • landings on the hands

  • basic rotations
  • Kong and double Kong elements
  • “flips” or forward, backward, and sideward saltos
  • “wall-flips”
  • basic trampolining elements
  • optional participant choice skills
