Ortona Deserves the GO Community Centre
A message from Ken Flesher, Past President Ortona Gymnastics Club and current President Board of Directors GO Community Centre
Little did we know when David Dorward from the Edmonton Grads Basketball Society approached the Ortona board in 2003 that it would take over eight years and thousands of volunteer hours to bring the latest incarnation of Ortona Gymnastics to fruition.
It started with the realisation that Ortona Gymnastics Club needed a new facility. The realization hit, or should I say the frustration hit, at about 3 am one wintery night when board members were outside in -28C temperatures knocking snow off the bubble to prevent a total collapse – our third one that winter.

GO Centre Project Status Report to March 01, 2011
The following is the status of the Go Community Centre Project, located on the University of Alberta South Campus. This report is based on information provided by the Design Builder and observations by the GO Community Centre’s Project Manager, Don Stenson.
