Participants learn to execute acrobatic tricks and develop gymnastic skills. Improve strength, flexibility, and physical control in a safe and fun environment. The participants are required to physically fit, flexible, strong, and to contort their bodies to perform some of the move. We will concentrate on providing you the gymnastics components - ACROBATICS - to allow you to go back to your dance studio and choreograph a beautiful and powerful dance routine.
OGC’s Program is intended to build the overall strength and flexibility of Athletes who aspire to improve in both areas of Acro and Dance techniques. Our focus in Acro will be categorized into tumbling, stationary positions, and stunts. During these lessons, basic dance techniques will be covered as well and will be adapted to the capabilities among levels.
This program offers three levels. Each level has a list of skill requirements that must be “Mastered” before entering into the next level. It will be at the coach’s discretion to place the child into the level that best matches their personal athletic ability, and to pass them to the next level when the athlete completes skill requirements safely and properly. We look forward to working with your child in a positive and rewarding environment!
*Levels 1, 2 and 3 athletes are part of the same class, but only students who can execute all the skills in the level will receive the applicable badge colour, and advance to the next level.
