Why Support?

  • After more than a decade of daily use, Ortona’s rod floor has reached the end of its lifecycle. Its shock absorption and bounce are no longer consistent, and the worn carpet and foam now affect both safety and athletes’ ability to continue progressing. This floor supports athletes of all ages and stages each week, from preschoolers developing foundational movement skills to competitive gymnasts training advanced routines. A safe, modern floor isn’t a luxury, it’s a core requirement for quality training. Replacing the rod floor is an investment in the future of our athletes. Over the next 10-12 years, it will help protect growing bodies, improve confidence and performance, enhance overall safety, and create new opportunities for skill development.

Impact that Goes Beyond

  • Any funds raised beyond the installation cost go to the Ortona Athlete Bursary Program, which reduces financial barriers for families.
